Do i need 5 years of experience before persuing phD?

i want to do phD in zoology. After completing my masters and m.phill do i need to have 5 years of experience before persuing phD??

I read it somewhere on internet but sure if its true or not so pls help me out of it!

    First understand that a PhD would mean that you want employment that deals with research in the zoology field. Not really working in the field.

    As far as your question, it really depends on the school you attend. Typically after your undergraduate degree you should have 3-5 years of work experience and then you get a masters. Once you have a graduate degree it's up to you if you want to get more work experience or just get a ph.d

    there really is no time frame at that point
