How can we get YAHOO HELP when in a NEO version of a group?

Yahoo switched me to the NEO version of my groups. I went into the group I own, and tried to post a message to test how this version works and start to learn it as I suspect this will be put on ALL of us one of these days.

In group, I go to "conversations" which is the new word for messages and tried to post a new message. I get into topics tab under conversations and CANNOT get the 'new topic' button to work. I go into the messages tab under conversations and CANNOT get the 'new topic' button to work. So I looked for the 'help' link Yahoo usually puts so you can ask for help when things don't work, and there IS NO HELP button.

SO... how can I get help from Yahoo when the NEO version does not work ????

Update:

I did find that wheel icon in the upper right portion of the screen does have 3 options: "account info", "help" and "feedback".

I have not had time to test and see how helpful they are. I'm in two groups set up by Yahoo moderators for questions from other Yahoo moderators. They are very helpful, and I'm beginning to figure out some of the bugs in the /neo/ version of groups. I sure hope Yahoo reads these two moderator groups. We're discussing all this actively and trying to find solutions. It's almost like being in a legitimate beta test.

Today I found the BUG that causes my links in conversations to NOT work. and I was finally able to test sending a message from inside my group, and I actually found ONE GOOD BENEFIT to the Neo version! I can attach files to messages. Before I could only do that if I sent the message from my Yahoo email account, NOT from inside the group. That's a good improvement.

Update 2:

Noah, Many thanks for responding. It may take a while before people understand the gear icon and remembering it is where help can be found. I don't think most people consider the Neo version intuitive nor does the gear icon make them think the icon implies "help links here".

Please advise Yahoo management that their silence is causing confusion and membership frustration and irritation. As one responder indicated, he's lost at least one member who thinks he's not managing the group because they don't understand his comments on Neo. They don't see it so they believe we see what they see. I'd love to see Yahoo allow some group owners to be able to sign up as beta testers of Neo, and allow them to shift back and forth between Neo and Classic to find the differences and the bugs more easily. They could then help their members when you put all on Neo. I've not used the Customer Care contact yet as this has put a heavy burden on me since I do a

    Hi,

As pointed out above, the link to Yahoo! Help can now be found by going to the gear icon in the upper right hand corner. On the help site you will have options to contact Customer Care by email or ask a question on the Answers community forum, which you have done here.

Are you encountering any specific error message when clicking the "new topic" button? We are aware of a possible error that is happening when posting messages, but will need a bit more information to properly assist. In the meantime, please try the basic browser troubleshooting procedures here to see if that helps resolve the issue:

I hope this helps resolve this issue for you. Please write back if you continue to have any trouble.

I found the same thing and I am suggesting that people just delete their groups and move over to some other group places, here are a couple I have found.

here is where else you can start another group that I have found.

    1. google groups- https://groups.google.com/

    2. e-hentai galleries- http://e-hentai.org/

this group is a place for adult oriented drawings and other adult oriented art.

3.deviantart- http://www.deviantart.com/- I put this one last because i am not sure some hard core stuff would be allowed, though I can't be sure either way. but this place is like yahoo groups was but it is much easier to communicate with each other, I would suggest this one .

but if you must use yahoo, I found that IE 10 is the best that can work with it, and saying that it is the best is saying that it some times works and some times doesn't, so it is up to you.

This neo version of yahoo groups can't possibly be a legit version or if it is it is the worst 'upgrade' in the history of the Internet. One group I belong to no longer displays the group's cover picture but instead shows pictures of Asian infants and children which have nothing whatsoever to do with group. What the hell is going on? Besides the ridiculous look, I can't post in the group anymore. My messages get returned as undeliverable.

Yahoo groups have been successfully hacked by a group of defense contractors and government agents posing as yahoo employees. It was made to look as if it is a website upgrade but the true purpose is so lessen the ability of yahoo groups' members to share information that could allow people to be more independent, less stuck in corporate slavery, more off grid , more free. There had been more and more people figuring out ways to make a living and provide their own energy , etc. without depending on large corporations and this had to be stopped. My groups are all hacked with this neo thing when I log in with a foreign email account but if I log in with a local email account I see the old format except the "Post" selection is missing from the left side menu choices. If I send a regular email to the group's email address it gets returned as undeliverable.

We cant. Apparently. An angry lady just quit my group because she thinks I am personally having problems taking care of the group business or something. I try to explain Neo, and no one gets it who does not see it. There are no ways I can see to read anyyone.

I have the full text of their email to me, which says we are a small fraction of people they are testing Neo on. No apologies, no assistance. I'm more upset than ever because now people think it is my fault the group isnt working.
