Christians only please - what's the Biblical view on gender dysphoria?
Don't get me wrong, clearly if you're non-Christian you will probably have a view on this, and no doubt an interesting one with which i might well agree, but this is just directed at Christians.
The Bible is often said to speak out clearly on the subject of homosexuality. However, right now the only verses which come to mind that are the ones in the OT about castrated men not being allowed in the temple, the one in Acts about the eunuch and the stuff about not wearing the opposite gender's clothes in the OT again. Oh, and "Male and female created he them." So, bearing in mind that I am both Christian and gender dysphoric, which i've unsuccessfully and prayerfully struggled against for decades, have you any suggestions? Is there any Biblical reason why i shouldn't seek gender reassignment as such?

I have no idea what gender dysphoria is............................but your last line says...... gender reassignment.
so I shall assume you want to change your gender. There is nothing wrong if nature made a mistake and you area guy who wants to be a girl or viser verse.
the only advice I give you is.................if you plan to become a girl................then date guys after.
if you plan to become a guy......................then date girls after. which ever gender you chose to be...make sure you date an apposite....so that you are man and woman.
that way..if science corrects your sexuality to what it is suppose to be.....then make sure you can be regarded as heterosexual in your marriage..or dating
Nature makes mistakes all the time....we have plastic surgery to make us bigger or smaller....heart aids to keep our hearts beating.....we trim our nose, our ears.....we add fingers and toes.....
science is for man to better his life................and if you are a different gender than what you body visible suggests....it is natural for you to correct natures mistakes....
God has given us science to make our lives more joyous......partake of them all..................but be heterosexual
and remain pure

Not a christian, but here's my Biblical take:
God made them male AND female. No where did he say he made them male OR female.

It is the influence of Media that has confused the young men and women of this generation. very sad.
Our bodies are a wonderful creation, and to harm and mutilate it is rebellion against the One who created us.
Don't be fooled by media, the truth is YOU are exactly the way you should be, and should embrace your masculinity if you are male---
femininity if you are female.
