British couple adopting a foreign adult?

My wife and I have a devoted (and very intelligent!) 25 yo Bangladeshi houseman. We live in Greece but would like to take him back to the UK from time to time and maybe settle him there with British nationality. Does anybody have any experience of such a situation or can you point us in the right direction. If we can adopt him would that give him the right to British nationality? All answers will be very much appreciated..

Lisa! I do, but I did not want to make the question TOO complicated! Our relationship with our houseman is strictly formal!

Nora! I have already explained to Lisa that I did not wish to make the question too complex. Our relationship with our houseman is on a simple employer and worker basis. Introducing the fact that we are a gay couple might have led to people thinking that there was some sort of sexual relationship. Anyway,....you have answered my question. It is not possible so.... end of story!

    If he is over 18 you cannot adopt him but he can travel just like yourself and partner may be get some legal advice as for being gay those small minded people that think anything other than your professional situation with this young man can go jump in the lake hold your head up high ok good luck

    we have many bagladesh and pakistani people here , take as much as you want :)

    You can't adopt an adult.

    Also, you CLAIM to be gay. Why do you claim you have a wife?

    You cannot adopt a person over the age of 18.
