Agree or Disagree: CM Punk is the best performer in the WWE right now?

For awhile now CM Punk has been the best all around performer in the WWE. Punk is just a natural story teller and very gifted at that. He's an intelligent individual and basically knows the business like the back of his hand so he knows how to work people. His personality is very likeable for fans and as you said he doesn't even really have a gimmick but he still sells stories.

The good thing about CM Punk and why he's so popular is that there really is no one else like him, not in the slightest. When you look at other top guys they all have similar traits and just generally seem to deliver the same kind of thing. But Punk is so out of their league, he's so different that it's refreshing.

Inside the ring, with Daniel Bryan they are hands down the best wrestlers in WWE today and the best they've probably ever had. To disagree with this, I'm sorry, but that's plain stupid. The evidence is there in front of us all. Punk and Bryan are the best wrestlers in WWE. But what sets them apart elsewhere is their abilities to sell stories and engage audiences which Punk is head and shoulders above Bryan. I couldn't agree more with your additional details response. Daniel Bryan has a lot of respect and popularity recently mainly from 'internet fans' because like Drew McIntyre was Vince McMahon's chosen one, Daniel Bryan (more so than CM Punk) is the internet's chosen one. Daniel Bryan has fought, much like Punk, for everything he has in wrestling today. But, I really don't think he has the charisma to sustain a high position in the WWE for anymore than several months at a time. CM Punk lasted as a WWE Champion for over a year and he was never boring and every week he was different or delivered something so special. I can't see this coming from Daniel Bryan.

The reason I'm comparing Daniel Bryan to Punk is because if anyone was to disagree with this question, the only other wrestler in WWE that could contend for best performer is Daniel Bryan. But, as you said, Punk just does everything better. Maybe by such a small margin, but Punk is still the better all around performer in the WWE.

The only thing that ever holds Punk back is his personal form and injuries. I wouldn't call CM Punk injury prone because I really don't think he is at all, but he's worked hard for his whole career. Not saying anyone else hasn't. But, when Punk gets really into the limelight, he pushes himself and is also pushed by the WWE. He's pushed hard and rarely breaks. Unfortunately, I can see Punk retiring within the next 5 years or having a substantial, long term injury. Thankfully though, he's come to the WWE and basically achieved everything I feel he would have wanted to achieve. WWE is forever changing and in recent years all down to Punk. For all of this, CM Punk is the best performer in WWE and the most reliable guy. If ratings drop, others go out injured, Punk is always the man called upon.

Bryan, when was the last time can you say you've really enjoyed a John cena match, Danial made it epic and such a change up to the plain old boring matches cena has.

Then I'm pretty sure he has what it takes to keep viewers eyes glued to the screen, he will be a main eventer. Why do you think he's been pushed so much?

This guy has amazing moves and makes the match great by actually wrestling while showing skill. Cm punk really just hits majority of the time, Bryan changes things up all the time.

No.CM Punk is a good wrestler yet lets take some names.Christian great all round wrestler rather strong on the Mic. similar with Rey Mysterio.Chris Jericho is likewise great on the mic. and his wrestling skill.Triple H is superb on the mic. and a powerful wrestler.i do not care what everyone says yet John Cena is likewise a strong wrestler and has strong mic. skills.people would imagine CM Punk is the perfect in contemporary wrestling specifically because he's doing something massive contained in the WWE.people fail to comprehend regardless of the undeniable fact that CM Punk is powerful different wrestlers are extra useful.

Disagree Punk is a good performer and mic worker but he isn't the best I would say the best right now is Daniel Bryan he's way over than most guys in the roster he's red hit right now. Punk is good but he isn't the best.

No I think he's sort of overrated. He does have a gimmick and it's simple: to get people behind him or against him by saying what they do or do not want to hear depending on his role in the ring. I personally think that Kofi Kingston is better in the ring though. He's so underrated.
