I just recently got hired and one of the requirements is that all employees must be able to work cashier. I start Saturday and I was told to memorize the prices of a variety of things given to me on a sheet. How can I remember this better and if anyone has been in a similar situation about how long until I have to be able to do it by memory.

  • Why does everyone hate Katy Perry all of a sudden?

I won't lie and say I'm on the cusp of what Hollywood or the general masses thinks but it's not hard to tell that for some reason Katy Prry has became universally hated in 2014. In 2011, when Teenage dream, came out I knwo everyone wasn't a fan but it's only been this year when she gets comparisons to Justin Bieber (THE most hated artist off all time in my opinion). Which is funny because back when released Teenage Dream, I could've sworn she was loved by the massses.

  • Sites where they can make a poster for you?

I was wondering if there was any site where I could upload any regular JPEG image and they could turn it into a poster for me and ship it out. I just want it resized and turned into a genuine poster.

  • Why do people hate music they don't even listen to?

I'm a very open person and I have friends of all colors. Some of them think like me and love music as long as it's good. On the other hand...a lot of my white friends hate rap music just because they dislike something they heard on the radio and can't appreciate the culture. Same with my black friends because they assume rock is devil worship and screaming when in reality both of the sides are wrong. I actually heard someone play a song by All American Rejects and the song was called "devil music" by one of my white friends. I don't know if I was just born with more of an open ear but AAR of all bands was called satanic by one of my friends.

Are we destined to stay divided as two different cultures until we can appreciate something we may not be used to? I'm truly confused because all music takes skill that's why it makes me mad when white people say 'rap takes no skill' and black people say 'rock is just screaming'. So why do people judge something at face value especially music which isn't made for a demographic. Music is made for people.

Should I just distance myself from both groups considering I can't seem to get along with either?

  • Agree or Disagree: CM Punk is the best performer in the WWE right now?

He has raw talent (I mean c'mon the man doesn't even have a gimmick) and he puts on some of the best matches (see Summerslam 2013 vs. Brock Lesnar) and he cuts alot of the best promos. WWE needs more wrestlers like CM Punk because he can legitimately tell a story in the ring. I was so into his match against Lesnar it was like watching a true street fight. If you don't believe me then check out the match for yourself.

  • What are some verses/songs you think'll be considered classic in the next 10-20 years?

Classic verses are just known automatically. NY State of Mind, 99 Problems, among others are recited and known by pretty much every hip-hop head in the universe. My question being, think 10-20 years into the future what songs/verses do you think'll be considered classic just as NY State of Mind or alot of other songs are now. I say songs like Gorgeous by Kanye West will be in the upper echelon of hip-hop alumni because it's a highly appreciated song but just hasnt been given that "legendary" lable yet.

    My List Is...

    Gorgeous by Kanye West

    mAAd city by Kendrick Lamar

    Yonkers by Tyler the Creator

    Lord Knows by Drake

    Who Dat by J. Cole

    What are your suggestions/thoughts?

  • Why would they have to reboot Deadpool for a new movie?

I'm asking because the directors said that they can't have the version seen in Origins. I understand Deadpool is the "Merc with a Mouth" and this talkative a**hole and the Deadpool in Origins has his mouth sewn shut or whatever. So listen to me for a second...

Deadpool (Wade Wilson) used to be a mercenary that was subjected to the Weapon X program (syncs up with Origins so far) the only difference is that Origins Deadpool is a puppet, but at the end of the movie it's shown that Deadpool is alive. His arm crawls and grabs his head as he says "Ssshhh" to the audience. Deadpool spoke. And in the comics, Deadpool's true face is this grotesque zombie-like head. So why not just put a Deadpool costume over Ryan Reynolds and say Stryker found Deadpool and submitted him to mutant extraction, calling the test a fail. That would get rid of the optic blast and stuff he had in Origins. Wade becomes self-aware halfway through the procedure, stabs Stryker with his katana and regains his personality. Then Deadpool grabs some mutant DNA (or alternatively, Stryker puts some of Wolverine's DNA in him) and injects himself.

Ryan Reynolds has the comedy and action down pat. So if they come up with a story that's solid or similar to mine, then they wouldn't have to reboot the franchise just for Deadpool. Any questions?

  • Buy/Sell: The Documentary by Game is a classic album?

We all know Dre makes no mistakes and when one of his artists release an album it's usually an instant classic and Documentary seems to have fallen by the wayside with albums like GRODT and GKMC and let's not even speak on Eminem's albums but if you give it a listen there are a lot of things to really love on the album from it's production, it's catchiness and it's lyrics.

  • Thoughts on New Slaves by Kanye West?

I'm a huge fan and I seen the video on YouTube. Tons of people are in debates about race, religion, and very few on if they even like the song or not. So that's what I'm asking and then you can throw in any other thoughts you had. I personally loved it and think It's similar to his College Dropout material but with a different musical style.

  • Buy or Sell: Man on the Moon: The End of Day is a classic album?

It's a classic in my mind with very introspective records and a recurring theme that seems to string along with the mind of Cudi and his personal struggles. It had radio play too with songs like Day n Nite, Make Her Say and Up, Up and Away. It's personally one of my favorite albums.

  • What is the song I'm thinking of?

It's a dubstep-like song with a singer. He sings about real deep stuff and I hear it everywhere just never found ou the name. He sings like "i'm finally free" and stuff and in the middle there's bursts of this sound that kinda goes MANA-MANA-MANA-MAN-MAN and then he sings again.

  • RHH: What new artist reminds you of an older artist?

What rapper reminds you of a rapper from the Golden Era for example...

Joey Bada$$ reminds me of Nas

His flow and delivery and lyrics remind me so much of Nas back when Illmatic dropped it's crazy. Listen to "Survival Tactics" and you may see what I mean. What current artist reminds you of an artist from the past?

  • Tips on writing hooks?

Everything i've done up until now has either been a freestyle or a remix of a previously released song and I'm attempting growth so can anyone give me tips on writing hooks? Don't hate me, but I really am fond of hooks by Drake, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne (Hot Boys- 2008) hooks seem to really stick with me. I'm just trying to grow as an artist, I want no criticism of my musical taste just true down-to-earth advice.

  • Why does everyone like Hopsin so much?

JUST LET ME SPEAK FOR A MOMENT HERE:

I understand that Hopsin is a talented lyricist and has the gall to actually say what he thinks but do you honestly think Hopsin could be the GOAT just by dissing rappers? He constantly complains about the hip-hop scene yet does nothing to change it. "Sag My Pants" was the only listener-accessible song he made and that got limited play. I'm not saying he's not good I actually like him and I can appreciate his message but he needs to use his talent for something else besides whining like a little kid who can't have candy. He also complains about gimmicks when he has one the biggest gimmicks in rap music (his eyes). Dissing legends/veterans won't get him any respect either (Lupe Fiasco) so he really needs to learn his place. Not saying you can't be arrogant but only if you can back it up and Hopsin hasn't backed it up with any radio-accessibility. I'm not saying he has to go commercial but it only makes sense to make music that other people can hear besides people accidentally stumble upon them on Youtube.

BQ: While i'm thinking about Hopsin....What'd you guys think of the Wolf album by Tyler, the Creator. I thought it was pretty decent. Doesn't rack up well against his other albums but this one showed growth as an artist.

  • What is your favorite track off your favorite album? + BQ?

Both Current and of All Time,,,

All Time: Touch the Sky off of Late Registration by Kanye West

Current: Sing About Me (excluding the "I'm Dying of Thirst" song after it) off good kid mAAd city by Kendrick Lamar

BQ: Choose an emotion and then choose the song you usually listen to when in that mood.

For example, when I get all emo about my living situation I usually listen to music that expresses this but expresses it with an attitude so Mos Def, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, or Talib Kweli.
