Can I or you sin, if the following is true?
Sin is the doing of wrong as a G-d has stated. (really doesn't matter the religion) and if you argue it does, well, hahaha your really missed the point.
G-d created all of existance. (again if your g-d or view of g-d did not, then it is not as powerful as one that does.)
A creator would create something exactly the way they want to, and if I was without flaw, then everything I make would be without flaw.
Hence, how can something a flawless G-d Create be flawed, If you can clarify why you are imperfect, then Please do so, As I see it You are perfectly You. as you where created in your own specifications. and what others see as design miss ups is just your edge of the puzzle piece. just need to find a good fit.
I've notice that that perfection is being repeated.
Perfect is a comparative word.
To say something is perfect is that you are comparing it to something.
Perfect Circle does not exist as atoms don't allow it in the physical world.
Or
A perfect person is some one you compare to an Ideal person.
Thinking about it. If you compare an orange to another orange it would not be perfectly an orange, as there would be something small that makes them different. In stating anyone or everything or what ever to itself, it has no room but to be perfect as how can you not be you? Unless you compare yourself to what your ideal self should be. Then yes you are flawed. But I will never hold anyone up to those standards but the standers you are now.
And when you seek to improve your self it is perfectly your choice making it a perfect choice.
CATO: Its good thinking not pushing that aside.
(Please leave your notes in as I enjoy your train of thinking.)
But please note the primary question, reworded.
Sin is going against what one was created for. But Can you sin if you where created to sin.
It seems we are all doing as we were designed for. Even if it seems cruel, it seems that no on can truly sin if the creator or the universe designed us to.
On your building analogizes, are correct in the a time sense.
Here is a truth when the Empire state building opened it was the tallest building in the world.
This can never be taken away. As no other building existed in 1931 that were taller.
Now, if we add time The empire state building will always.... then you have a belief
I have no beliefs but none the less contingent rains true. So yes you are right. But the first fact still remains true.
The thing with seeing things with a contingent point of view is that you expect it to be do something that it cannot. Not change. Ever

Here is a couplet in response
There is no right or wrong, nor perfect, imperfect
All there is, my dear, is just the cause and effect.

It does not matter whether the opinion is steered by a creator or religion or belief, if we or anything was created "perfectly or without flaw" then it should state that there was an opposite of perfect in which perfect was based upon. For some of the other answers, if there was temptation, well that means that temptation grew within the creator making the creator imperfect, so on, so on, and so on.
You can look at it as cause and effect or even simply balance.

Define Sin...
Ones Religion is their road to Father/Mother God
and there are many roads/Religions all leading to God...
----
It's you who 'Doesn't Get It" and clearly missed the point...
We are "Perfect" in our "Imperfection"
purposely created with flaws only while we inhabit a Body.
As You say:
"A creator would create something exactly the way they want to,
and if I was without flaw, then everything I make would be without flaw."
(Are You sure this is How God Wants To make us? Perfect? - Boring)
How do you know God only wants to make "Perfection" as you define it.
This type of thinking comes from Ignorance, it is Arrogant, A$$umtive and
Pure Conjecture...

We are Spiritual Beings Having a Physical Experience
The Physical Realm is but Boot Camp For The Soul
Sin is being 'Un God Like" which is being unkind etc...
and God want us to choose Hence 'Free Will' which way
we want to Live our Earthly Life do we choose to be GodLike or not...
***Some ask Where is God when horrible things happen?
Father/Mother God is watching as any Parent does will baited breath
as their children learn their lessons the hard way...not interfering because
as Spirits we asked God NOT to interfere with the
Tragedies and Catastrophes in the Physical Realm which may come
unless specifically asked to do so because their were lessons which
would outweigh the cost...
the Only beings who can intervene without permission
are Angels and Spirit Guides and they do so sparingly.

Perfection is contingent... Contingent means something can exist but it does not have to exist (ie. everything we know is contingent) Meaning nothing in the know universe can be perfect. For example; the tallest tower in the world was once the Empire State Building, it is no longer the tallest because someone built a taller tower. Just like building something bigger, you can always add to perfect in our experience of reality. Who is to say what is perfect, we are just saying this through our own experience of reality, what if we're wrong? As for God's perfection? God is not contingent.
EDIT; That's what I'm saying exactly, you can't have perfection in a contingent reality, however if God is NOT contingent he can be perfect... Look up the ontological arguments, particularly Descartes's.
Contingent
adjective
1. dependent for existence, occurrence, character, etc., on something not yet certain; conditional (often followed by on or upon): Our plans are contingent on the weather.
2. liable to happen or not; uncertain; possible: They had to plan for contingent expenses.
3. happening by chance or without known cause; fortuitous; accidental: contingent occurrences.
Source(s): Yes I'm mentioning perfect a lot but I am using it correctly (my wording isn't great) but my point still stands. http://m.dictionary.com/d/?q=contingent - How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.

Yes, I agree, everything is perfectly what it is and the way it should be. However, from the perspective of ego consciousness this is not the case. Because almost everyone identifies with the ego as the 'self' and basically relies on perception to discern Truth and Reality, our point of view comes from imperfection. Until we transcend the material mind and the ego we cannot realize the Reality of the Perfection of God, which is omnipresent, i.e., all things seen and unseen.
Both Jesus and the Buddha taught that 'sin' is another word for ignorance, which the ego is the source of. Because we falsely identify with what we are NOT, we are subject to suffering, ignorance and sin. The Buddha taught the way to Enlightenment, which is Transcendence of the ego and the material world, and Jesus taught the way to Heaven through Salvation, which is perfection of the ego, and more attainable for mankind.
It is not poossible to 'sin' against God, but rather we sin against ourselves. This is the concept of karma. The Buddha said that we are not punished for our sins, but are punished by them. Matthew 7:2 says, "The measure you use to measure others will be used to measure you. And the judgment you pass on others will be used to judge you." This is the very same idea that is taught in the East, and why it is essential to do unto others as you'd have them do unto you.

God created us perfect, flawless and with the ability to live forever. However, the eating of the fruit, in the garden of eden, brought sin and death to us all. God commanded adam and eve not to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and bad. Them eating this fruit was telling Jehovah God that they did not need his rulership in their lives. Ever since then, God allowed man to try to prove they
Could rule themselves. What a failure man has been. Soon, God's righteous government will rule the entire planet and bring man back to perfection, through Jesus' ranson sacrifice!
