It's possible that your rash could be caused by an allergy or fungus (use antifungal cream) and you could have eczema or psoriasis. With an allergy, you will need to find out what causes you to rash more. You can start with your soaps and detergents (switch to unscented sensitive brands). It could be a food product (wheat products (toast all bread), oats, bran, shell fish, etc.). Sometimes a person can tolerate enriched wheat products, but cannot tolerate whole wheat. Do not wear wool, wool blends or flannel for a while. If you are on medicine, it could be a medicine reaction (drink more water or change medication). You could have extremely dry skin (moisturize, use unscented moisturizing soap, limit caffeine use, and drink water). If you have a pet, it could be an allergy to fleas (the pet as well as it's bedding must be treated). Sometimes an antihistamine helps with the itching, but it doesn't work the same for all as some cause hyperactivity. Do not take one that has a decongestant in it. You can also try over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream or anti-itch lotion or gel. If you cannot find out was in aggravating your rash, you need to visit a dermatologist and/or an allergist for testing.

Source(s): I have allergies and eczema, use Elidel cream (prescribed) and Tavist 1, avoid foods that cause me to rash more, visit my doctor, dermatologist, and allergist regularly and mine is under control.
