The USA was founded on various freedoms which includes being free to follow any spiritual belief/religion, to show your love of those beliefs without interference from Governments, Kings, Dictators or any other ruling group. The Bill of Rights is the real laws of the country without it the Constitution is just a piece of parchment with miscellaneous words. When one talks of Christ as Lord, they speak of his spiritual status not secular. If you don't like the USA and the laws it was founded under, then be our guest and leave!

Not much help in keeping schools with God in them either, is it? I mean, being mostly a Christian Nation, one would assume that the Majority rules, but apparently, some judges do not think so.
You see, a child in school for 6 hours or 8 hours, whatever, is subjected to reading, writing and other stuff, for the full time, and NONE of it about religion. Is it? So 6 hours of NON religious stuff, with not even a one second mention of God during that time.
Doesn't that sound a bit ONE sided? No God for 6 hours, and then one second of the word "God" mentioned in the Pledge of Allegiance (America), and people panic.
To put that in perspective, let's turn it around.
Okay. 6 hours of God, all day long. God this, God that, all day long. A child is continuesly smothered with the word, GOD. But then, during the 6 hours of this God God God, comes a moment ...a second rather....of the mention of " God does not exist."
And the God pushing people would panic, OH MY, someone muttered a bad thing..."God does not exist".
So then the make it a law to keep people from saying such things. " Child, you cannot say, 'God does not exist; not in school, nor outside of school. It is against the law, the New Constitution. "
You see how one sided that is?
---------------------
But yet, the one sidedness goes on, today, with people not allowing the one second mention of the word, "God" in schools that are NON God for 6 hours every day.
Religion and State should not mix, or so they say. But no one says, NON religion and State should not mix. Do they?
What I mean is, that if you take religion out, what remains is the opposite. And that, can be as dangerous or worse, the religion is. think about it.
Stalin was not religious. The former leader of N. Korea was not religious, and his son, who is now in power, is not religious. Look what Stalin did with his people, and where Kim are leading his people.
Any government needs equal representation by ALL factions of people, to be fair. IF non religion has 50 representatives, then religion needs 50 representatives.
but sadly, most do not see it that way.

So, is the United States a Christian nation? No. Not in its philosophy, or in what it loves, or in what it does. Despite its Judeo-Christian roots and heritage, and the beliefs of some of its founders, the United States today is a nation that follows other gods, and lives a lifestyle that is not compatible with Christianity.

The US didn't bestow the title of "Lord" on Jesus. He had that title long before the US existed.
