What are the benefits/cons of using a VPS to bot runescape?
I'm thinking about getting a VPS so i can bot on runescape (07).
My account has been banned 5 times in a row now and next time is a perm ban and i know jagex has my IP flagged so i'm planning on starting a new account on a VPS and botting it up.
I'm just wondering what a good vps is that can handle atleast 1 bot running with tribot scripts.
also pros/cons of a vps in general never actually used one before

They will flag both your IP as well as your account since under account settings, there is an offence meter which they can easily track you with.
Using a VPN will probably be ineffective in stopping yourself from being banned.

They have various different programs and trackers. For example one program might follow where you click, and if you follow the exact routine for hours on end, you'll be flagged as macroing. Of course, the programs are not flawless, and a small percentage gets through. If that is not enough, the Runescape community is kind enough to go about and report people showing the stereotypical characteristics of a bot: No speech, same movement patterns, and plain, green clothing. The former is fairly rare though, and there are bots that will reply to things. For example, if you spoke to a bunch of bots with the program, they usually would all blurt out "hi".

All a VPN will do is prolong you from getting banned pretty much. Eventually they will catch on and you will be banned either way. Im not one of those DONT BOT PLAY LEGIT people either... I know many people who both and use VPN's all except like 5 have got caught (out of 50+ people). Good luck.

Don't. Use. A. Bot. Play legit. It kills the purpose of paying for a game when your own computer is playing it for you half of the time.

Please don't bot. It takes out the fun for other legit players.
Also, I never understood the concept of botting. You play for fun, right? What's the point of letting a emotionless program have the fun?
