7DA's Do you know why one of yours would praise Jesus and preach the sabbath at the same time?

Here's a response to a question about someone trying a nondenominational church for the first time and as an adult.

"7th Day Adventist keep the sabbath /one of the ten commandments...its human nature to judge everyone of us is a work in progress only Jesus got it perfectly right."

Isn't the New Testament abundantly clear concerning the sabbath? I don't mean to make it sound like I think it's wrong to keep the sabbath; I'm just saying it's not Christian to condemn those that don't.

I really don't know what you guys teach and haven't taken the time to research it. All I know is I see the occasional across-the-board "reproof" for Christians who don't keep the sabbath. I'm just wondering is this person being a good representative of what you guys believe?

Update:

It's not Christian how this person is preaching the sabbath and praising Jesus in the same sentence. Like I said, if someone wants to keep the sabbath, more power to them. But it's not a thing to be preached to New Testament Christians. It's like when Christ talked about people teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Update 2:

Yes, the keeping of the sabbath is an Old Testament doctrine; but like I said, the New Testament makes abundantly clear how Christians are to view it today.

Update 3:

2FH, this kinda deflates your whole little sermonette, doesn't it? Colossians 2:16-17 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: (17) Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Only GOD can change the day of worship.

(I am not SDA...they are not the only ones for this).

How can people deny Jesus when Jesus said Himself

I AM ...ALSO...Lord of the Sabbath?

If any changes were to occur, Jesus certainly would have said so.

But Isaiah makes it clear in prophecy that Sabbath still goes on.

Think...who were the disciples? Paul is shown worshiping on Sabbath.

Paul is a Jew! Paul was a Pharisee. No way is some partial verse saying

    anything about the 7th day.

All days were sabbaths...and the 7th day was the Holy Sabbath for everyone.

The early Christians were...Jews, went to the synagogue on Sabbath...

not because it was a Jewish custom or 'law' but because God put this in place.

I praise Jesus Christ FOR the Sabbath.

This is not about 'what will happen if people don't worship then, because that's

    not something I know'

But Sabbath is NOT Old Testament.

It is entirely made up, a decision by the roman catholic church,

    to put in....

think!! The day of the sun? You would worship on a pagan day?

Where does it say to show Jesus' resurrection? It's made up.

It's just a man made ...belief which is a...sorry to say it...it's a lie.
