No, but our leadership thought so.

Apparently they don't seem to understand they get it wrong most of the time. Maybe that's why they repeat the same mistakes, hoping to actually be right once.

But that's the way it is, risk the lives of others.

This administration has been heavily involved on all the revaluations from the grass roots on to these full blown massacres. They admitted it after the Egypt ion one seemed to be working. Came right out and said we were behind the initial push, getting the factions in line. Hell, Hillary had a speech taking credit for the thing and laying it all out. How soon we forget, how quickly it disappears from or screens.

Was it worth getting involved in Iraq's problems with Kuwait, or Afghanistan's Russian occupation, or should we have sold chemical weapons to Iraq under the Regan regime, or should we have funded Al Qaeda under the Regan and Bush 1 regimes ? Or was it a good idea to sell weapons to the Contra's in Nicaragua under Reagan ? Should Regan and Bush 1 admitted they were responsible for importing the first crack cocaine into black neighborhoods to fun their shipping of arms to Nicaragua ? You didn't bother to ask that did you ? Typical of the Con's lack of attention and lack of ability to think.

Not the way we have been doing it .

When politicians and political correctness get involved with warfare there can be no victory . Victory just isn't politically correct .

If we are going to go to the trouble and expense of going to war it should be left to the experts ( the military ) to manage .

Well, at least it's kept Al Qaeda busy OVER THERE getting shot up by our military forces who can fight back, instead of having them come over here and kill unarmed civilians.
