How good is the performance of Dell Alienware laptops?
I've got my eye on a 14" 8gb Dell Alienware laptop (base price is $1300). I plan to use it to play the Elder Scrolls videogames with LOADS of mods (I've already got a list of at least 200 I want for Skyrim alone!), along with everyday Internet and Microsoft program use for home and school. Is this laptop going to be able to handle it all well enough? I'd like to know just how good it is and is it well worth the money? Also, is Accidental Damage Service a good idea to get with it?
Thanks in advance! :)

Alienware is definitely a good computer. However, the huge base price is not so pleasant. A desktop with that price point will be far superior than what youre ever going to get in a laptop. It will do fine with the things you asked for, but be wary of the price. You're basically buying a $800 Desktop for something heavy and "portable" for $1300.

The speeds are good for a laptop but ts bulky as hell, if you dont mind spending a few extra $ get a Razer, they are half the width and weight with a little higher speed and extra modified buttons as well as the monitor for a track pad
