Yesterday, at 10am PST, Bethesda, or Zenimax, or both, booted everyone off for maintenance. Now it's 3pm the next day (so 29 hours later), and they still haven't put it back up. Any news on why this is?

Okay, okay. I understand dealing with coding and gigantic files like an MMO is extremely complicated. I heard from other players that there were broken quests and some weird bugs that would show up sometimes, but do they need to fix every bug at once, if that's what they're doing, or seeming to do? 29 hours seems like a long time for maintenance, if you ask me. Then again, this is my first MMO and the apps I play are in no way as giant as ESO, though it does take them a few hours for those tiny things.

Mmm. -.- I just really want to get back on again. I've been watching an episode of Lie to Me, check on ESO, watch another episode, check ESO again, and around and around all day yesterday and all of today so far. Anyone have news on what they're doing/fixing, and about how much longer it'll take? It'd be really nice to know since I don't know of any sources that would keep me updated on it, if they update players on it at all? I just really want back on...

I was away from the computer for about an hour or so, and my dad decided to mess with eso after I logged out of it (but I didn't quit or close out of the thing). He closed out of it and I've been trying to figure out how to get back in to play on it, but there's no play button kind of thing ANYWHERE on the official eso site and I can't get back in! It took my computer 40 HOURS to install the game. Do I have to reinstall it?? I've checked everywhere in the computer and it's coming up with no files at all of it, even though it supposedly installed. How could I have played on it and it having installed if it doesn't even show up??

I really don't want to go through the entire installation process again, but I have no idea how else to get back into eso. My parents would get irritated with me if I hog up the bandwidth for such a long amount of time again, anyway. D:

I'm planning to buy Elder Scrolls Online and I'm considering buying from getgamesgo.com, but I'm not sure if its trustworthy and reliable. Anyone buy from them before? Anyone know anyone who's bought from them before?

I'm interested in the stuff that the Imperial edition comes with, but I would rather be a Khajiit than an Imperial. Is it possible to do this, and still keep the stuff it comes with?

I was going over Bethesda's site and I noticed the ESO pre-ordering thing and I figured I'd check it out. Something caught my eye: if you pre-order, it'll give you an explore package that includes a few interesting things, but there's two types of packages. One's for the Imperial stuff, and the other includes you can be in any race in any alliance.

Well, the Imperial stuff comes with the Digital Imperial Edition. I know that much. But... one thing it's unclear about is if the Standard Digital Edition pre-order would come with the other package, the one with all the races and stuff. I don't want to order the Digital Imperial Edition since it's kinda expensive, but if the Standard Digital Edition doesn't have the explorer's pack (includes the all-races thing), then I might have to...

Another thing... Does the Imperial one come with both packs, actually? I'm aware I *COULD* be answering my own question (I'm not sure if the explorer's pack extends to the Standard edition though whether Bethesda says this or not), but it says on their site that all pre-orders come with the explorer's pack. Does that mean that the Imperial one will come with both? And will the explorer extend to the Standard edition?

Sorry for the redundancy, but I'm trying to say everything in different ways so that if one's unclear, then maybe another will be.

I'm creating my first follower mod. The problems I'm having are 1.) my Khajiit follower won't unsheathe her weapon when I do, and 2.) I have warpaint and color variation stuff showing up on the creation kit, but when I go on the game, it's all default facial settings. It's not showing the gray face (I've done the Actors>Actor>MyKhajiitFollower, holding ctrl and pressing f4, pressing "yes", and "done"), but the warpaint's not showing up. What do I do?

I've held the button for 10+ seconds, and nothing happens. It refuses to shut off. I tried using the controller, but nothing comes up on the screen; it's just black (I can turn the screen on and off, but it only shows black, and the ps3 menu won't come up at all). Also, the ps3 is making a low humming noise like there's a disc in it, but I tried several times to press the eject button, but NOTHING HAPPENS. The ps3 system refuses to shut down and I don't know what to do. It's kind of aggravating because I wanted to play Skyrim, but I've got this problem to deal with now.

My niece, whenever we scold her for being naughty, she goes around the house now saying that everyone hates her. Sometimes she cries while doing so, so we try to tell her that no one hates her while we hug her and try to comfort her, but she insists that everyone hates her. I don't know where she got this behavior, but I'm assuming it's from school, and I don't know how to turn her away from this. Any suggestions?

My main character is a dragon in the Middle Ages in Germany. I want to have her be poisoned by an arrow that is shot through the membrane in her left wing.

Are there any paralyzing poisons that I could use on her that would cause paralysis in her left wing and legs, but can be diluted with drinking water so that she can live, and not be paralyzed for life?

I was thinking belladonna, but I've found no site that says there's a cure for it, and I would've used curare on my character, but that's found in Central/South America, which wasn't discovered at the time my story will be written in. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks in advance!

In my novel, my main character is a dragon who lives in Medieval Times in Germany. There's a part where she's flying and trying to get away from some archers with an elf on her back. The dragon is a 14 year old female and she is about 40 feet long from nose to tail tip. I need the archers' arrows to be poisoned with something (still trying to figure out if I should do it plant-based or if I should have them use snake venom, but I'm not sure they'd poison weapons with snake venom in Medieval Times).

What I want to know is how much of an effect would some poison on an arrow shot through the dragoness' wing membrane have? Is there one that can cause partial temporary paralysis to the wing and the forearm on that side? AND the dragoness survive, with given medical attention? I'm aware that medicine in the medieval times sucked, but the elves in my story know how to cure stuff naturally.

So, I'm in need of a poison or venom name that would have these effects and not kill her. Help?

Okay, so one of my main characters is a 5' 5" female elf living in the medieval times. She's escaping some enemies on a young dragon (main character, 14 year old dragon, from nose to tail tip: approx. 40 ft. long), the dragon crashes on the ground and one of the sharp, slightly downward curving spikes on her neck slices into and back out of the elf's abdomen (top of the would starts at an inch under the sternum and goes 3 inches down the abdomen). The stab wound is 4 inches deep.

I want her to survive this and the wound to be kinda life-threatening. Would the wound I described puncture a major organ or something? And would it be realistic that she'd survive it? Yes, she does get medical attention by a human friend that was right behind her on another dragon.

Also, if she started to die, would it be okay if her friend gave her CPR? It wouldn't cause anything worse, right? What problems would be caused if the friend did do CPR on her? Would it be unrealistic if she survived them?

I can install mods perfectly from Steam, but when I try to install mods on the Skyrim Nexus, my computer does NOTHING. I have SKSE installed and NMM installed, but no mods are installing. I continually click the button to install them, nothing happens. I close out and go back on, nothing happens. Is there any way to get the Skyrim Nexus mods installed? Some of them look incredible and I would really love to be able to use them.

Notes: I think I have the latest version. I got the Skyrim game with the Elder Scrolls Anthology and ordered it on Amazon as soon as it came out on Sept. 10th, so it should be updated... I have accounts on Steam and Nexus. Also, I currently have all 3 DLC's (they came with it in the Elder Scrolls Anthology) and I have 129 Steam mods installed (not all of them set to load when I play the game. I only have about 30 that are.) and none of them are texture packs or ENBs or anything of the sort; just player home mods, follower mods, city mods, a few quest mods, etc.

The mods I tried installing that wouldn't do anything were Deus Mons, SkyUI, and Unlimited Bookshelves. I haven't tried anything else because none of these worked and I figured that if those didn't, nothing else on the Skyrim Nexus would. :/

I'd like to play on my new Elder Scrolls Anthology videogame series, but I don't have a good laptop yet. I plan to buy one at a base price of $1300 (Dell Alienware), but I don't have enough money to buy it yet.

I was wondering, is it legal to play on it on my sister's laptop for now, then once I earn enough to buy my own laptop, then would I be able to switch it to the new one and continue playing on there? IF it IS legal, then how can I do that?

If it's not legal, then I'll just force myself to be patient. :) Any help is appreciated!

I've got my eye on a 14" 8gb Dell Alienware laptop (base price is $1300). I plan to use it to play the Elder Scrolls videogames with LOADS of mods (I've already got a list of at least 200 I want for Skyrim alone!), along with everyday Internet and Microsoft program use for home and school. Is this laptop going to be able to handle it all well enough? I'd like to know just how good it is and is it well worth the money? Also, is Accidental Damage Service a good idea to get with it?

I live near Vancouver, Washington (SW part of WA) and I'm looking for a part-time job that can be done after school (school ends at 3:30pm). I love animals, especially horses, poultry, and dogs. I have excellent experience with each (except I'm a novice with horses, but I've gotten some lessons, my family owns two, and we've had them for two years) and I also have experience with guinea pigs, mice, cats, rabbits, fish, and parakeets. I would love if someone has a job or can help me find a job that would allow me to care for any of these types of pets. Yes, I know it's an old-ish game (2006, I think?), but my brother-in-law gave it to me several months ago and I love playing it on my ps3, even though, yes, I'm a girl. (I play TES V: Skyrim, too. I love it.)

Okay, to the point. I'm stuck facing the wraith after getting the helm of the crusader. I die pretty quick with it and its two skeleton friends, even though I'm at level 14 with Shrouded Armor (I have dwarven with me to use in battle while I have the shrouded for sneaking) and Fin Gleam, a silver bow, 20 silver arrows, 10 potions of healing, 3 strong potions of healing, 14 weak potions of healing, and 259 health.

I was wondering (since I play as a Khajiit female), will the Eye of Fear greater power work on the wraith? I don't have any spells except for flare and weak fireball. I do have the scrolls absorb health, consume health, major wound, and summon scamp. My magicka is terrible with only 80, so I can't do many spells.

Is there any way I can defeat a wraith and his two skeleton friends with what I've got?

Okay, so today I decided I'd go and make another character and save it under a different file so that it wouldn't be saved over my lvl 61 Khajiit that I've put over 170 hours into in the past month. Well, I was going though the new game a little and it autosaved once. I went and disabled it since I knew it would get rid of my hard-earned Khajiit. Later on, I decided I would go back to playing my Khajiit to later find out that the game had autosaved anyway, even though I disabled it. It had autosaved 3 more times and I'd actually went and saved it only once. With that, it completely kicked out my lvl 61 Khajiit, on which I was Harbinger of the Companions, Listener and leader of the Dark Brotherhood, Arch-Mage of the College of Winterhold, Guild Master of the Theives Guild, and which I had bought all five houses, became a thane of every Hold (except Falkreath), 300,000+ gold, destroyed Alduin, had complete Daedric armor, and had gotten 7 skills at 100, with two others in the 90's. Is there anything I can do to get my character back? It was my first character I've ever made and I've worked so hard. My sisters think that it may be not "lost" exactly, but just hidden somewhere on the disk. Could this be true? Could I really get my character back after the sweat and blood I've put into this?

And yes, I went to the main menu and went to "load". ALL of them are from my lvl 2 Wood Elf I just made that stupidly kicked out my lvl 61 Khajiit and I'm extremely mad at myself for ever having made the new file. I'm seriously ticked at my ps3 for autosaving, even after I disabled the autosave. And I've been told by my brother-in-law, whose been playing Skyrim for what seems like AGES, that you can make multiple files for different characters. He's been able to do it, and yet, THIS HAPPENS.

Please, if there's anything that can be done, PLEASE HELP! D:

I'm really itchy in *that area*. I've never had sex and I'm a 15 year old girl. It was itching BEFORE and AFTER I took a shower today and BEFORE and AFTER I shaved there today. I've been rubbing my skin raw trying to get rid of the itch, but it just won't go away. The itching has been on the outside of the lips. :C What could this be from? And what can I do to get rid of the itching?
