what was the funniest costume you saw for halloween?

I think it was when some of my high school teachers went out as a singing case of beer.

They painted coffee filters silver as bottle caps.

The funniest thing I've ever seen is also the reason we don't participate in Halloween anymore. I gre up in the burbs, where Halloween was treated like much of the US version of Halloween was in the 50s and 60s. When we moved to the city, I bought the candy for trick or treaters, only to discover a completely different tradition I didn't like. Apparently, the poor neighborhoods bus their kids to middle-class neighborhoods after dark. The kids don't dress up and just rush door-to-door with pillow cases to grab fist full of candies from whoever answers the door.

Sure, you could go with "they're poor, so can't afford costumes," but when we were kids, we used to raid the rag bag or our parent's old clothes. Catchup, lipstick, and cigarette ashes was our face paint.

If they don't have the decency to dress up, we don't have the decency to pass out candy anymore.

We go to Salem, MA every year, and the costumes are "One of a Kind"....and everyone is so friendly, smiling and waving at each other, laughing at each other's costumes...anyways, we saw a "Ken and Barbie" Doll, that were dressed like barbie dolls, and they were inside Boxes, with their feet hanging out of the box! There was also a Dog in a Bed, in a Nightgown, with a nightcap on, being wheeled by his owner. TOO Cute!

I always laugh when I see any President of the US running up to my door. I think Reagan and Nixon were the funniest, but Obama and Bush were cute too.

It was a little bitty Gene Simmons in the Kiss costume-his foot long tongue flapping in the wind.

A pregnant nun costume.

I didn't see it but a friend told me they went to a party and a guy was dressed up like a toilet. She asked him what he was and he said he was a s***! I was ROTFL!
