Do Republicans have a "final solution" for welfare receivers?

The current GOP/Tea/Fox/Jesus freak party is like a dog chasing a car. Should they catch the car, like the dog, they will have no idea what to do with it once caught. Depressions are caused by lack of liquid capital in the economy. The suggestion that more capital be removed from the equation means that the 'economy' will fall to a much lower level of equilibrium. That's basic economics no matter what 'school' you belong to. The movers and shakers of the Party of No scoff at the idea of 'sharing the wealth'... the wealth that's created by the combined labor of the entire 'working class'...those that work for hourly wages.

Out tax rate for the top 1/5th is too low, and borrowing is the only way to make ends meet. Oddly, there's plenty of capital stacked up in banks and corporate balance sheets to provide those taxes and reduce the borrowing to close to zero. Even a small fraction of that dead capital invested by the federal government in our social and physical infrastructure would go a long way toward dealing with the problem. There's plenty of work to be done and trillions in dead capital to pay for it. Once in charge the right wing movers and shakers will either have increase both taxes AND spending or watch hopelessly as the 'economy' slides into depression for lack of cash, capital and production.

Reinstate the work requirement after a time on welfare where recipients must seek employment or go back to school. Obama has made the welfare state more attractive than work where no one making less than $20 an hour can live better than welfare recipients who have money, free food, free housing, free medical and dental care, and even a free cell phone. Why work when the government gives you everything. Obama loves people to be dependent on the federal government. If someone bought my food and paid all my medical bills I would be rich by now but I have to work to support these freeloaders.

Maybe not, but nature does. We're about to run the aquifer -- that supplies much of our crops -- dry. In less than 30 years, we'll only be able to produce about half the food we do now.

And there won't be enough clean drinking water for many in densely populated cities.

All the welfare in the world won't save people when they're without food and water.
