Trinitarians: Please answer.....Does God need to learn anything?

If he does not, then tell me HOW is Jesus God?

Hebrews 5:8

New International Version

Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered

New Living Translation

Even though Jesus was God's Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered.

English Standard Version

Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered.

New American Standard Bible

Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered.

King James Bible

Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Update:

But GOD does NOT need to learn ANYTHING!!!! How is Jesus fully God, if he LEARNS? No translation uses a different word.....they ALL use learn. You cannot interject a different word if it is not cross-referenced with another Scripture.

I only use KJV Bible - all the other ones delete scriptures/words - change words that mean something different.

Must be whatever version they use the word "son" is not found.

Jesus knew what was in man - he even would say why reason ye these things in your heart?

He Was - He Is - He Always Will Be - The Son of the Living God!!! :D

The same old story over and over again. The Divine Person Jesus has two natures He is the Son of God (Divine nature) and the Son of Man (human nature) it clearly states within Scripture that when Jesus assumed His human nature He emptied Himself and was made lower than the angels whom were created through and for Him. As the Son of Man Jesus had finite knowledge He had to learn through His human experiences. But as the Word of God He also possessed Divine knowledge the teachings of Jesus are the teachings of His Father.

Easy one to answer directly from the scriptures. Philippains 2:5-11.

It tells us there that while Jesus was pre-existent in heaven in the form of God, he elected to no retain that position, become a servant and be born as a man. Meaning that during the time Jesus was on earth he was not accessing his abilities as God. He was functioning 100% as a human being. So he had to learn, to grow older, to eat, to sleep, to pray for guidance, to do this miracles through faith, to use the scriptures, etc.

Yet at the same time that he was physically 100% human and subject to all the limitations of humanity, he was also 100% spiritually God. That is why he referred to himself multiple times as the Son of God, and used the divine "I AM/YHWH" to refer to himself.

Not that difficult of a concept. and clearly laid out in scripture.

Jesus was human, with gods soul. God already knows everything, but Jesus when he was born, did not. Just like everybody else. But, he was worthy of the ultimate sacrifice just because he committed no sin.

Sinning doesn't mean learning. Learning means understanding. I think Jesus had a lot of empathy, and will and love for his father, to not give into the bad stuff.

Jesus is the Son, not the Father, and the Son is part of the Godhead.

    Colossians 2:8-10

8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Since Jesus is fully human, Jesus does not possess unlimited knowledge despite the fact Jesus is also fully God who knows everything. The Divinity of Jesus CHOOSES to limit Himself to the limitations of humanity in order for Jesus to be truly & really human. His Divinity refuses to interfere with His real humanity. But this is the mystery of the hypostatic union.

jesus is the son of God......sired with an earthly woman. His calling in this life was to be born of a virgin.and die for all mens sins. Once he rose from the dead...he was then considered a God. he is now our judge and jury when the end of this earth comes.

Before that he was merely our creator...under the direction of God the father. As he grew in mortality he had to learn just as everyone else did.......but once he rose from the dead...he was then made perfect and exalted.

jesus no longer has to learn anything...................he is now a God.

before that he was the creator...........................then he was the redeemer.....................he will soon be judge
