Did anyone see the story about the nasty priest who stopped a wedding because of a photographer?
Do you know how it all ended? All I've ever seen is the POS threatening to stop the ceremony and the Bride and Groom standing their thinking WTF is he doing.
My wife and I were married in a Catholic church. We didn't have a professional photographer but had friends who took pictures for us. The priest had no problem with 2 of them taking pictures during the ceremony. Then again, our priest was a very nice easy going man, nothing like father nasty in that story. Can you imagine the memories that unfortunate couple will have of their wedding?

I saw it.
It was so over the top, that I have to assume this is Jimmy Kimmel's newest viral prank.
I have been a professional wedding photographer for over a decade, and I have never seen an officiant behave so badly.
Also, this was not a Catholic Priest, or the ceremony would have been inside of a church.
Edit:
This was an outdoor ceremony where the officiant was cracking jokes with the couple. The couple seemed genuinely surprised at his reaction. You can watch it here:

did not see the story
my church and pastor that married us,would not allow us to be photoed during the ceremony.
could only be reenacted a few minutes after married and the guests were on their way to the reception
the photographer was made aware of this ,like we were. I think he would have stopped the ceremony if the photographer did not follow the rules he was told about,
if told before hand,seriously, I have no problem ,if he stopped

Churches generally have clearly stated rules on photography (it is afte all a religious ceremony, and not a photo op). If a photographer is unprofessional enough to break the rules, the priest is well within their rights to ask them to stop, or leave.
