Help! I have some sort of boil on my inner lip?

I recently had a cold/canker sore (I gets these periodically for 4-5 days) and it was going away, but today in the exact same spot as the sore, I've developed a boil kind if thing. Do I need to see a doctor, do I just wait it out, etc?

    I would sit it out and for the next time you should get yourself a good cream against it, Zovirax is a real good one..
