Was religious education taught well in your school?

I enjoyed the subject when I was a lad, but I remember only too well how second-rate the standard of teaching was. Most of us saw the subject as a doss. How would you improve our theological understanding?

Hi there
There was an interesting series on Radio 4 recently which looked at society's need to have a moral code. Various groups around the world formed different religious teachings which served to protect vulnerable members of society and to collectively work for the common good.
It would be interesting to look at the similarities of world religions and how different groups use it as causes of discord.
Now that could be really interesting and might dissuade our vulnerable young from becoming radicalised.
