theory about why halo wearing a poncho! SPOILERS?

Oh... I was thinking he went to mexico to train as a jedi but during his training he was overcome with a terrible alcohol addiction and failed to complete his training. When he gets kicked out of the jedi academy he crosses the Mexican desert where he find a giant robot which then kills him and the jedi kill it and then star wars happens...

His name is John. He goes by Master Chief because that is his rank (Master Chief Petty Officer). He is not a "robot" or a "cyborg", he is human. He has just been genetically altered for super-human strength, speed, night vision (somewhat), and quite a few other things.

Also, there have been other theories to why he is wearing the "poncho". He could have gone rogue and is hiding his identity from Satellites, or he could be wearing it because his armor is broken or in need of repair and the sand could effect some of the material within it, hardware, software, armor itself.

Also, John is from Eridanus VII. I don't believe he is hispanic at all.

Now I'm not going to be rude and call you names or anything, but I don't think you are taking this seriously. Either you don't like Halo, don't understand Halo, or haven't played it. Please don't ask ridiculous questions when there are already quite a few answers out there that are better than your questions or "theories".
