Yes. The Republican leadership, if you could call it that, is afraid of them and acts as if they're actually sane.

Right and the left is full of good natured people who have never said that abortion was "sacred ground", arthimetic is different than math, that businesses are subject to the will of the State nor that gay marriage is a zero-sum game.

Obviously, but some of theses answers are a bunch of "dumb", and "dumber", they isolate themselves to information (true or not) from sources who tell them what they want to hear. A Fox news story on "Fox and Friends" said the President was financing a Muslim Museum, and you sheep ate it up. Since Fox had been called out on that statement, they will have a retraction, Sunday.

Just because Fox, and radio radicals say it, doesn't, automatically change the rules of government. The Congress is the only branch that can shut down the government, blaming the President, is ridiculous. You can't fart, and point at the dog!

Not exactly controlled , the GOP leaders can take controll if they have the desire. They could simply pass bills using bi-partisan votes, and bypass the T-party completely.
