Which English Bible translation is closest to the original Hebrew?
I'm not looking for it for study; I have a project I want to add bible passages to and it would look much better with text closest to the original. I can compare the many versions out there for study.
Also, for study, what's a good resource to understanding genesis?

FACT..."There is no one alive today that is 100% positive their "Translation" of the "Original" text is 100% accurate and of the "Original Text", only a few shards remain in existence today. Mans "Uninspired" hand basically "Invalidates" the entire book. Case in point... Jesus family history is documented in Matthew and Luke to indicate Jesus was of the "Royal Blood of King David". The problem is Joseph "Was Not" Jesus' father. By scripture... God is Jesus' father.
Source(s): Out of over 2500 translations, into different languages, "NONE" have escaped mans "Uninspired" hand. No "One Version" is anymore accurate than "Any" other.
