Do You Think the Tea Party Will Think Twice About Pulling This Again?
Now that Obama and the Democrats finally put their foot down against the crazies (something that Boehner and the Republicans could NOT do themselves) do you think the Tea Party will mess around like this again in a couple months, now they know what it will get them?

Based on the response from Sen. Ted Cruz-I doubt it.
Never forget the Tea Party folks are obsessed and like all obsessed beings they are on a mission blessed, in their minds, by God.
Ted Cruz Blames Senate GOP For 'Bombing Our Own Troops' In The House
Caitlin MacNeal – October 16, 2013, 7:17 PM EDT14045
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) stood behind his effort to use a government shutdown to defund the health care law Wednesday, blaming his fellow Senate Republicans for getting in the way of victory in the House.
Cruz told conservative talk show host Mark Levin that Republican senators had been "firing their cannons" at the House Republican caucus and likened the Senate GOP to an "air force bombing our own troops."
Cruz also said that the Senate is "undoubtedly" broken.
"It's a broken institution," he said, adding that Senate Republicans are too concerned with "getting invited to the cocktail parties."
The Senate did not take the full brunt of Cruz's blame. The Texas firebrand called the Obama White House "the imperial presidency," and said that Obama was "dangerous" because he "thinks he is above the law."
Ultimately, Cruz said that his effort to defund Obamacare, which died in the Senate Wednesday night, was not a failure.
"It was an incredible victory," Cruz said.

No, I do not. You need to understand the Tea Party is primarily made up of Evangelical Christians (the ones who think when everything REALLY goes bad, Jesus will come back and torture everyone they do not like for all of eternity) and a group of hard right people who actually view default as the goal - like declaring bankruptcy on a national level and therefore "wiping the slate clean". They are not exactly the type who have any sort of reason to prevent your US Savings bonds from becoming completely worthless. I'm pretty sure they are not complete idiots and know that most of the US debt is actually held by the US citizens as a group rather than foreign interests, they just don't want to pay us back, for our own good. They simply don't view the resulting devastation as a bad thing. Different philosophies, same goal, so they work together from different angles for that same goal - that's how you turn a minority into a majority.
That's a pretty old playbook they're using, btw. (Wheeler, I believe his name was, pretty much pioneered it to get alcohol prohibition passed) They're using it because it works, so of course they'll do this again.

A question like the one you pose, reflects how little you understand what just happened. Low information voters like you are a large part of the problem.

No, they are already on Fox News talking about how they plan to do this again in February.

I'm not sure anything has changed.
So next time, Republicans need to put the foot down as well. Don't cave next time.

Do what again? They will continue representing their constituents and doing what they think is right.

No, I am sure they will try this again. If the GOP doesn't figure out a way to cut them loose, the party is doomed.

Of course not. They think they did everyone a favor by acting like spoiled toddlers.
If anything, they are even more likely to continue to do this.
