When applying for SS disability, does it matter if your doctor is from a different state?

I live in IL and my doctor is in WI. I have arthritis, back and knee pain and can no longer work in my previous fields of picture framing and ski boot fitter.

    Sounds like there many be several thousand other types of jobs you could do, instead of asking for welfare dollars paid for by others with arthritis who go to work each day.

    Since when is arthritis a reason to get SS disability? That's absurd.
