If Dems don't like it that some states aren't expanding Medicaid why dont they go win state elections?

That would be one way of doing it, but that would take time. Meanwhile, the citizens of those states are at the mercy of their Republican leaders.

It seems to me that Republican political leaders don't follow the will of the people. They follow what their party wants them to do.

In the US today, it looks to me as if the people with big money buy up the media, and through that report news the way they want people to understand it.

Tonight I heard on the radio that political advertising generates income second only to car advertising for TV, radio, magazines, internet, newspapers etc. That means that very rich people are spending tons of money on political ads. Guess which party is spending this massive amount of money.

I also heard that the Fox programs are not allowed in Canada because in Canada you can't lie on news programs.

It is not easy for democrats to get the votes anywhere, when the the rich (the owners of the corporations, and other monied areas of influence, have such a huge influence on what people say, do, and how they vote.

Besides, the significance in this is not so much what the "Dems" want as what the people of that state want and need in terms of medical care for less.

More Dems will win state elections because Obamacare is leveling off premiums in states that have started early, so all the states where they're trying to prevent it will want it too because the old system is not as good as the new one.

I have empathy for the people who live in the States that didn't expand Medicaid. They need to vote those politicians out.

Because in some states like Oklahoma they would have a hard time doing so.
