Examples on measuring quality care for doctors and hospitals?
I understand what it means, but I can't actually find examples for each setting. If anyone has any websites they can show me that has this information (examples) I would greatly appreciate it.

Chrissy, your question reads examples of quality care FOR doctors & hospitals, not FROM doctors & hospitals. This is about care received by doctors and hospitals and that just doesn't make a lot of sense because doctors don't receive care until they become patients and hospitals don't receive medical care at all.
Do you mean examples of how the quality of the care received by hospital patients is evaluated? By "hospitals" do you mean all nursing, respiratory, dietary, physical & occupational therapy, speech pathology, etc. staff? Or just certain departments? What do you mean by "each setting"? Are you also including LTCs, SNFs, private practice and clinic settings?
Patient surveys are one means of evaluating the quality of care delivered. The annual DHS surveys are another. And facilities should have their own internal means of quality control. Until you can get this question straightened out, I can't tell you any more than this. My answers may not even be what you're looking for. You may think the question is clear but that's because you already know what you want. You just have to get that across to the rest of us.
