Horse Farm Wedding Venues in Massachusetts?
I am looking for a place to get married and have my reception at. It is prefered to have an indoor reception in a rustic barn or Inn but am willing to hold it outdoors aswell. Does anyone know of a Horse Farm that offer weddings (preferably Middlesex County, MA- but am willing to check out venues a bit out of the way)? Horses are a HUGE must have! Thanks for any tips!!!!

Why on earth would you want horses at your reception? And, if horses were so important to you, wouldn't you know where they'd be already instead of throwing out a random questions on Y/A?
Here is a place to check, it's a horse farm in the area. If they don't host weddings (and I can't imagine why they would - they are a horse farm, not a reception hall), ask them if they know any place that does in the area. You'll be surprised at how helpful people can be if you talk to them in person.
Alternatively, ask with your photographer, florist, caterer, etc.

First of all, keep in mind that a lot of people are either allergic or downright cared of horses. We may love them, but we also know a lot of people we love who don't. You want your family and friends at this wedding, not horses. Maybe in the distance.
The Mass. Horticultural SOciety holds the lease to Elm Bank, and to get there you drive by Hunnewell Farm which does have horses (also cows, just for variety). But Elm Bank is lovely, and pastoral and huge. And it's not that far from Boston.

Another place that you might consider, in the neighborhood with horses, is the Connors Family Center -

If you wanted to ask the coordinators, a horse visit could likely be arranged with neighbors.
Ask at Dover Saddlery in Wellesley center, as well as at SmartPak Equine on Rte 9 - all of those gals are of the age that they may know someone who got married at a farm. Most are private, so that's problematic - but the two places above are open to the public and near barns where horses live, which may really be about as close as you want them.
You want to share this with your relatives - all of them - and that having been said, it's very likely you really need to be where the horses are nearby, but not so close you are attended by big hairy beasts and no one else.
