What things influence your kid's cereal choices?
Specifically 8-12 year old boys. I have to do this for marketing, and my target market is 8-12 year old boys. I need to know what influences their cereal choices. I also have to put a name down so if you could tell me your son's name too that would be great! Thanks in advance :)

Just make up names.
It is easier and less creepy (and it really does not matter).
My son is not 8 yet but he eats what I have in the cupboard. Does not get any choice in what I buy.
Honestly I just have wheetbix, rice bubbles and muesli in the cupboard so that is his choices.
I will buy a different brand of plain wheetbix, muesli or rice bubbles if it is on special or has some sort of promotion on.

Mine is pretty motivated by taste and is not really fond of cereal. He'll eat honey nut cheerios, but the rest of it is not really something he seems to want. Bacon on the other hand....

their cereal choices are among the three things i have in my pantry, and based just on their taste whim of the moment.
my cereal choices, from which the options in the pantry come, are based on their having reasonably low sugar content and knowing that my kids will like them enough to eat them.
i don't give my kids' names online.

When my brother Ben was that age he ate Cherios every morning, the regular kind, because he liked the way they tasted. He was not influenced by characters on boxes.

My kid's cereal choices are based on what's on sale that week and what I bring home. My kid's name is John doe. I made that up.

For them it's taste. Really, their name? Pedos ask for names and details, don't ask that.
