Edit: Case in point- during the wedding in the last book- after Bella is a vampire in the novels- she looks at herself in the mirror.

It's never actually shown in the movie that he can't be seen in mirrors. Maybe he just likes it that way?

He's a vampire, they all have gay hair, it's part of the initiation... NOT sure why I answered this, I sort of hate twilight...
