the diameter of a syringe plunger is 2.48 cm. I need the area in meters. I keep getting different answers depending on the way i work it out. I know that A = pi r^2.

the radius would be 1.24 cm. so pi*1.24^2 = 4.8305 cm. converted to metres would be 0.04835 m

but if I convert to metres right from the beginning the equation would be

pi*0.0124^2 = 0.0004835 m

and if i start with mm at the beginning (12.4^2mm rather than 1.24^2cm) then convert the end result the answer is different again

pi*12.4^2 = 483.05 mm converted to metres is 0.48305

which answer is the right answer/ correct method when starting with cm and wanting the end result to be in metres????

I deactivated my account about 2 years ago and I've just recently started receiving txt notifications when somebody is in a relationship. Just certain people though. I get maybe 3 txts a week. it's been happening for about a month. So I activated my account and re deactivated it but still getting relationship status notifications sent to my phone. it's annoying. HELP!

I bought a new television from The Warehouse last year (strangely it has no brand name). today I tried to plug an ordinary freeview Ariel into the COAX socket thing but it won't fit. so I tried it with a few other aerials I had lying around the house and none of them fit. yet they fit into my dads new tv which he just bought yesterday and they fit into my brothers old tv. I have no "Aerial in" socket, just the COAX.

is there a special adaptor of some kind that I need to buy?

the inside of the coax socket is red and it's a 55 inch LCD (if that helps with anything)

please help. I spent a lot on this tv and it's just a waste of money if I can't even get any channels. I'm in new Zealand.
