Facebook Question. How come I still get txt notifications?

I deactivated my account about 2 years ago and I've just recently started receiving txt notifications when somebody is in a relationship. Just certain people though. I get maybe 3 txts a week. it's been happening for about a month. So I activated my account and re deactivated it but still getting relationship status notifications sent to my phone. it's annoying. HELP!

    Yes, Its the best way, remove your mobile number from facebook.

    =>> login in to your facebook account and go to setting and remove your mobile number. then deactivate your facebook account.

    Try removing your cell number from https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=mobile
