Do I have to clean out my Petri Dish?

Can I just throw it away after I am finished with it?

You can usually throw them away, but first inform where you have to throw them in.

If there's biological waste on the dishes they often have to be disposed in a special bin so that it can be kept separate from normal waste.

Also be sure to tape the dish+lid shut so that it cannot open when it falls in the bin.

Plastic petri dishes are usually thrown away. They can't be autoclaved anyway.

Pyrex/glass ones should be cleaned and stored.

It depends on who paid for the dish. If the school owns it, they will tell you what to do with it.
