If it makes you feel better, by all means pray. But, not at the expense of actually donating to those charities seeking to aid the survivors.

Communing telepathically with your imaginary friend accomplishes NOTHING while donating to the Red Cross or Doctors Without Borders or finding out what food, clothes, medication, emergency equipment etc. are being shipped over there and working to help provide it will actually help!
Save your meaningless gestures for people not in danger of dying of dysentery becuse they don't have fresh water.

no problem .. what bothers me is the western publicized 'aid circus' and everybody tripping over themselves to get a piece of the windfall pie .. you can bet the common people wont see a single dime of it .. they live humbly anyway and for the most part are used to typhoons on a yearly basis ...
