Should I be worried that everyone thinks I'm eligible for Medicare?

I keep getting mailings from a variety of insurance sources, including my own current company, that say I am almost 65 and coming up on my eligibility for Medicare - it's apparently in 3 months now. However, in reality I won't be eligible for Medicare for 15 more year. Should I be concerned? Is there anything that can mess anything up for me (particularly my health insurance)? (And this has been going on since early last summer, so it has nothing to do with Obamacare.) Is there someone I should call?

They have you mixed up with someone else of the same name I think. You can write to a company to stop this direct marketing.

And if your current insurer thinks you are 64 and 3/4ths and you are really only 50, you might be paying premiums that are too high
