When you say "I told myself" who is telling and who is told?

I think your brain is telling your memory

One thing for sure is that you are an activity. I am not sure what is going on with everything about that activity but as long as it presents no danger to me it can go about its affairs unhindered by me in any way other than by what I am ignorant of and am doing by just being here and being myself. Which is a whole lot of cells bound together in so many complicated ways that I can only understand a small part of it. And my ability to relate all of this is only moderated by the union I have between all of those functions. Not some one or more particular part of me. Like my brain as compared to my thinking as compared to nature as compared to other humans and then as compared back down to some particular parts of me like my amigdala or hipocampus as compared to my heart or just to the amount of oxygen that is getting to my lungs and hopefully to my brain to make it all work. It does all work and all I have to do is let it and try to understand it as a whole even though I have so many individual parts working in it all. And in this day and age it is hard to keep focus and just stay here and not go off into some religion to try to explain this from that point of view.

The inner self or greater self can and does send messages. Some call this intuition or instinctive knowings. Regardless....that "one small voice" is you, the higher or more complete aspect of you...and the one being told/taught is the egoic self or surface operating personality.

I'm not sure if I worded this all correctly...but I hope you get what I mean.

When you say "I told myself", your mind is telling your consciousness the course of action to be followed.

you'r a 3 dimensional beeing in a 4 dimensional universe (time) making you a different person every moment you experience, in other words the total amount and pattern of neurons fiering at a spesific moment in your brain is never preciely the same, so for every instance they do, your a different person. therfore, a previous version of yourself is telling and a newer is listening.

u have an emotional body (from & in the astral plane)

u have a spirit body (your soul body=spirit body is pure light & love, pure unconditional love, nothing separate <3)

everything (typo: every body* about you, as a sheath to protect ur soul in this Universe as you grow spiritually) is involved in the negative, karmic, polarity area of the Universe of Universes, of this/God's Universe of polarity

When the subject is also the object, the pronoun with "-self" is used. English does not really have reflexive verbs, but it has the reflexive pronouns "myself," "yourself," "himself," etc., and when properly used they indicate the verb is meant to be reflexive (subject acting on the subject).

Are you accusing me of telling myself, or is it you who has been told to tell yourself to tell myself "i told myself"?.

You're just confusing yourself by jumping between first person and third person expression. Your manner of speaking doesn't alter reality. "I" referring to itself in the third person doesn't bifurcate it.
