Are CD's (Compact Discs) Safe Around Aluminum Soda Cans?

I am asking this because I don't know. Are CD's effected negatively by aluminum cans around them either right next to or close by because of the metals that aluminum cans are made of ? I am just asking. I know that CD's are made from & have aluminum on them through manufacturing , but I don't know if it's the same type of aluminum compound. I want to walk passed my CD collection closely , like right next to them with a soda can in my hand. I am wondering if there are any negative effects on CD's with aluminum soda can's right next to CD's. Thanks.

Nope! Aluminium wont alloy with other aluminium! And even if it would, CD is covered in plastic

I've never had a problem with them. Since Aluminum is non-magnetic, I would assume it would be even less hazardous than Steel or Iron.
