    Yes, I knew we did that. However, did you know that private confession is NOT required? Did you know that we have corporate confession and absolution at the beginning of every Divine Service? Did you know that many of us practice an informal private c/a of sins on occasion? And, most importantly, do you know why we do it?

    As it is written, Confess you sins to one another so the Priest casn forgive those sins and too make sure they never happen again.
