Dodge transmission fluid type?

What transmission should I use in a 2000 dodge Dakota automatic 4x4?

It has a small v-8.

Update:

I am in Canada, BC to be exact.

    ATF+4, either directly from Chrysler or from some other manufacturer which meets that specification, is what you want for any semi-recent Dodge.

    Check the vehicles' manual because there is a special trans. fluid for that thing because of the pump that is in there. You can get the right type by reading what is on the bottle of fluid too.

    The trans dip stick should also tell you the type of fluid.
