There was a 'women only' food distribution that occurred after the disaster in Haiti. I found that to be highly objectionable that it has left me with a bad taste for donating to these organizations that are going to participate in foreign social engineering policies with my money.

I'll first wait and see, then decide.

I asked a couple of aid organizations whether they were prioritizing women over men, as they had done in other recent disasters, or if their relief efforts treated everyone equally. I did not receive an answer, so I did not donate.

I donate $20 to every major disaster thing.

After seeing footage of it I got all existential and started to wonder how you can possibly fix things like poverty, education, unemployment and factors that revolve around well being when the country in question prone to this kind of thing happening.

I obviously did not come up with a solution that didn't involve "we'll just move people from there" or "we'll build super-industrial fool proof homes to protect them. LOL nothing reasonable.

Really sad, there's like, no conceivable solution to that kind of thing. And the thing is... I genuinely believe that moderate kinds of socialism can work in the right countries, and it's unfortunately so dependent on geography. The problem with socialism is this - it either really works, or it's a complete mess. One major disaster and it takes centuries to recover from, but it does ensure well being for most in times of prosperity.

They are our brother and sister so it is should be helped of than which are coming in covering area of every type of problems as a Natural calmities,country wars, bomb blast, etc.
