Why does use of the word "moist" make many women upset?
7 AnswersGender Studies4 years agoI'm looking for some predictions on the Trump death squads that will inevitably arise?
When they begin exterminating portions of the population, who will they target first?
Will it be gays, women, Mexicans, Muslims, blacks? Who most needs our protection in these dark times?
1 AnswerGender Studies4 years agoWhy do so many women adopt physically vulnerable styles, when they are at astronomical risk of assault?
Feminists tell me that women live in constant fear of victimization. So why do so many women choose to wear shoes that eliminate their chance of escape, such as sandals, flip-flops, and high heels? Why do they grow their hair so long that it can easily be grabbed by an attacker, instead of buzzing it like a marine?
5 AnswersGender Studies5 years agoAt what age should a boy learn the nature of woman, so he can better understand how to interact with them in relationships and in society?
My eldest son is only 6, and he's definitely not prepared to learn the whole truth yet. But being the loving father that I am, I want to start introducing the critically important concepts early, to give him an advantage later in life, and before his head is filled with bad ideas from our very anti-male society.
For examples of the things a boy needs to learn, see the links below for the first 4 videos of Youtuber Niko Choski's excellent series on understanding woman.

5 AnswersNewborn & Baby5 years agoWhy are some people angered when a man withholds assets from his wife?
We aren't always in the mood to share, just because we married someone. And sometimes a long wait makes it that much more special when we finally give her what she wants.

4 AnswersGender Studies7 years agoWhat could explain these gender differences on a "lost & found" item list?
The list in my office details:
•2 items found in women-only areas such as a restroom, zero items found in men-only areas
•5 items specifically denoted as being "women's," zero items specified as "men's"
•6 items that are nearly always limited to use by women, such as earrings, purple/pink clothing... and zero items typically used by only men, such as sports magazines
There are approximately the same number of men & women at my workplace. So what's the deal with the preponderance of women's stuff being lost by the owner, brought by someone else to a lost & found, and remaining at the lost & found without being claimed?
4 AnswersGender Studies7 years agoWho are the Republican Woron Women?
I keep hearing them mentioned on the news. Who are they and what exactly do they do?
My friend is telling me it's "War on Women," but that can't be right. Who could possibly believe a war is being waged on women?
9 AnswersGender Studies7 years agoWhat obstacles do teenage boys face when seeking justice for assaults committed by adult women...?
...that teenage girls do not face when assaulted by grown men?
A 23-year-old woman was caught on video while she assaulted a 17-year-old boy at Connecticut's Hammonasset State Park in May, yet she has avoided jail time.
5 AnswersGender Studies7 years agoDo all guys experience this problem at some point?
Lately I've been having a lot of trouble getting it to stay up. Is there something I can do to help the thumb stay up when I try to TU someone on Y!A? Or stay down for that matter?
Do women ever have that problem, too?
3 AnswersGender Studies7 years agoCan women be trusted?
...to control themselves around a bowl of rich, homemade chocolate mousse?
My wife is having a couple of girlfriends over tonight, and I will be out. I need to bring the mousse to a party tomorrow, but it will be sitting in the fridge tonight, vulnerable to any woman with a chocolate craving.
7 AnswersGender Studies7 years agoRegarding the draft, which would be a better change to enrollment requirements?
Currently, males aged 18-25 must register for "Selective Service" in the United States. Which of the following would be the better change, in your opinion?
1) Require females aged 18-25 to also register, to eliminate sex discrimination and share the burden more equally.
2) Eliminate the registration requirement for a subset of males, such as the Caucasian ones. This would be an incremental step towards possibly eliminating the draft entirely at some indeterminate point in the future.
3) Do not change the requirements. It is fine to exclude women on the basis of sex, but not to exclude Caucasians on the basis of race.
Please justify your choice, and indicate your sex or "gender."

5 AnswersGender Studies7 years agoHow safe is your country for Men?
I saw a similar question asked for women, and I feel it needs to be asked for the other half of humanity. Please frame your answer around the following points.
1) Domestic violence
2) Violent crimes, such as rape and murder
3) Physical or verbal harassment in public
4) Harassment and safety hazards in the work place
5) Faith in police and law enforcement
6) Healthcare
While answering, please mention your country as well.
9 AnswersGender Studies7 years agoDoes a victim of violence by the opposite sex stand a better chance of recovering psychologically if...?
1) They interact with non-violent members of the opposite sex?
Or
2) They are isolated from the opposite sex, and taught to feel safest in such isolation?
Any evidence or insight would be appreciated.
1 AnswerGender Studies7 years agoWhy don't abortion "buffer zones" apply equally to men who elect financial abortion...?
...aka "deadbeat dads?"
http://www.npr.org/2013/12/20/255870199/supreme-co...
Shouldn't these men (and women!) have the same right to freedom from verbal and physical harassment enjoyed by women undergoing medical abortions? What they do is not nearly as bad as killing a child, after all.
6 AnswersGender Studies7 years agoGiven that rape is about power and not sex, is the best final line of defense to feign enthusiastic interest?
Since the rapist wishes to exert power over their victim, wouldn't apparent consent make him or her lose their desire to commit the act? I am of course not suggesting the victim lead off with pretend consent, but only act amorously once it is clear the perpetrator will not take no for an answer.
10 AnswersGender Studies7 years agoDo Yahoo! Answers employees undergo gender diversity and sensitivity training?
And if so, what does their training entail?
I ask because the staff has been unsympathetic to my questions seeking advice as a male victim of female sexual harassers. I cannot see them being so insensitive to female victims.
