Why are women treated so badly in the middle east?

There are men there who actually stone women to death. Can you believe that? Such men are cowards.

OMG, I love women so much. :(

Update:

Women usually are not even violent. In fact, statistics show that 93% of all murders are practiced by men. Only 7% are practiced by women. So, it's usually men who are violent. That's why men are portrayed more often as being a murderer. I don't think either sex is better than the other. But there is one thing that needs to stop in the middle east. Men often seems to be very selfish.

I love you for supporting those abused women! I trust men's help as much, if not more then Feminists because a big heart is better then any movement. Please continue your efforts to help women over there gain the rights that men have enjoyed for centuries yet are not even thankful for having such women who suffer silently, as they see us Western women, with much more freedom and liberties. You are a hero indeed, in my books!

This happens because feminism has not yet been able to effect large scale change in those countries. Things are changing slowly, and will continue to do so as more and more women from those countries join the fight.

But you're right, such men are cowards.

If they had the infrastructure I'm certain they could be convinced to hang them, or execute them by firing squad, or give them lethal injections or maybe electrocute them.

A similar country stoned a man to death for raping a 9 year old girl, (hold the applause)

Decide if you are questioning their system for crime and punishment or if you have an sociological gender issue.

    PS

A woman in the Middle East can starve her children and it's still her husband's fault.

In America, women are seen as equals as well as productive women in society. In the Middle East, women are considered less because of the old age habits that have yet to die off. Either way, when you look at the differences, you consider women who are born in the middle east more important.

its not only woman, its the man when caught having sex with a married woman, and the woman was not made to do so by force, in that case only man is stoned, and thats why marriage ratio in uae is much greater then europe or usa. there you can't just have sex with anyone.

its because they still maintain traditional old views. Women also can't go out in public without men too.

Depending on your "offence" they either stone you or give you lashes until you die. Beheadings and acid douses are not unheard of either.

They are very cruel to their people. The worst of all is if you're an apostate or non-Muslim. You have to really walk on eggshells in many of those places.

although their are certainly many hardships and challenges woman currently face throughout many of these third world countries nevertheless can you honestly say after watching this video that the atrocities endured by men in the same parts of the world are any better

You know what? Men stone other men to death too. It's not a nice place to live.

Because unfortunately they are still ignorant people who believe in that stuff.
