Gifts of hope, to inspire someone...?

Hey guys,

So as the question says I'm looking to buy a small gift for someone who's going through a hard time right now and I would just like to show them that everything will be alright in the end and he's just got to stay positive (yeah it's a guy by the way :P)

I like the thought of a safety pin brooch as it's cute but it's very girly and I've got no idea where to get one. Another thing that I thought of were inspirational tokens but I'm not sure if that's a very good idea, and again got no idea where to get them from !

Any ideas you guys have would be great,

I have seen inspirational quotations and also sometimes Bible verses on wooden plaque things that can be hung on the wall.

why would a guy like a "girly" safety pin brooch?  The only thing that comes to mind is one of the stainless steel bracelet with a cross on it.

Ebay have got some great ones with free shipping.

How well do you actually know him? If he is your crush, then a gift is a bad idea.

If you know him well, take him out for a coffee or something to eat to allow him to talk about what is going on.

Those infinity bracelets that say "faith" or "hope" and try ebay theyr reasonably gud :)
