If you really think you want to be a chef, get a job in a professional kitchen first: even if it's just as a dishwasher, utility, or whatever. Loving to cook and being a chef are very, very different things. Make sure you like the industry before you spend the money on culinary school. 80-90 percent of 1st year apprentices don't make I because it's not what they thought.
