How to get over post anime depression?

Just finished watching B Gata H Kei Yamada’s First Time and it ended with a cliffhanger -__-. It was really good and the first anime i ever watched all the way through (Besides naruto but i dont feel bad about not seeing that).

I feel sorta empty now that it ended, as i was really attached to the characters. I wanted to try lucid dreaming as a form of closure for the anime but idk if that will work.

Find a new anime. That's pretty much the only solution. Either find a really good anime which a deep plot (though once that ends it will probably start up again) or find one that's just really fricken funny.

For one that's really fricken funny I suggest:

Baka to Test, and Angel Beats. (angel beats is guaranteed to start up post anime depression again).

For anime with really deep plots go for:

Angel Beats, Pandora Hearts, Gosick, Legend of Legendary Heroes, Higurashi, Umineko, Spice and Wolf, Tales of the Abyss.

Yep, steins gate, robotics notes, all good.

So is Dream Eater Merry, Attack on Titan, Guilty Crown, and quite a few others.

I used to a lot and I still do sometimes if the anime is amazingly good. I agree with the other answer saying the only silo ruin is watching another one. You may not feel like it will ever be as good but you might surprise yourself. I'd also like to add "Steins;Gate to his list.

Watch another anime so incredibly horrible and boring that you wonder why the hell you even feel depressed after watching anime. (watch dubbed for +30 horribleness)

    Read the manga

You need to find something that actually matters in life and stop feeling sorry for yourself.
