It's all part of being an intelligent 14 yr old. Plus the media has matured your mind long before your emotions and feelings have caught up. You might have the mind of a 30yr old, but you're a little short on experience. And, in your case, you might be wondering how to achieve it if you're caged and watched all the time. The only answer to give you is patience. Life has a funny way of slipping past you when you're not looking. Your freedom is coming right up.

I once asked my mom to let me drive (ride)down to Miami from Orlando to pick up a runaway friend of mine. And she let me go. (I was 13)

That was surprising.

It was a cool little one day adventure.

I know this doesn't help,...I'd never let my 13, 14 or 15 year old daughter just take off.

(I don't have any kids,..but still)

I'd be too scared.

You know these kids,..they go down to places like Aruba & never come home.

People are getting bolder with their crimes & evil deeds,..

why don/t you go volunteer at a shelter sometime. help some people in need. instead of sitting around acting like your burdened by genius.
