Was Canelo pre-Floyd a media made boxer?

Canelo hasn't fought anyone good apart from Vasquez and Trout, who himself has only beaten a shot Cotto.

Canelo is definitely over hyped by the media. He may be a good boxer but the media has hyped him as the next Mexican great.

I Know he's a whole lot better than Brandon Rios , you guys try to discredit Floyd by dissing Canelo. Canelo has one loss and is a young lion with huge fan base and is going to transend boxing, Manny Pacqiuoa wouldint dare step in the ring with him, because he would get knocked out worse than Marquez Knocked him out

Just because he wasn't ready for Floyd doesn't mean Canelo isn't the real deal. Just ask Trout, Mosely, Cintron, Ndou, Baldomir etc...

easy there hes was only 22 with zero amateur background, he was extremely green but beat Trout who I picked to upset Canelo.

There is potential but still there are some flaws that need polishing immediately and im not sure hes getting it from his current trainer. Come to think about it who is his current trainer? again for someone at that age with that limited experience, his future is bright

all i know is he aint top 10 p4p...not even when he beat mosley, they begun grooming him for floyd and insert his name on the #10 top p4p when he beat trout... floyd actually beat a non-p4p guy in canelo

Well ask yourself this: What the **** is open scoring? I think he was largely a media made fighter yes. He should be fighting at middle weight anyway.

canelo is a very good fighter just not as good as floyd ....stupid question
