How to take a screen capture bigger than my screen?

Sometimes I see long images that I'd like to have for personal use on sites that don't allow right-click or drag-and-drop functions, so I want to take a screenshot. Problem is, the image is a lot longer than my computer screen is, and it's very tedious to try to take it part by part and them paste together. I also don't want to zoom out with the ctrl + - combination, because I'd like the image to remain its original size.

Are there any programs that I can use with Chrome that allow me to make screen caps longer than the screen's viewable area?

Thanks in advance.

Get a freeware by name SNAGIT . It has the capability to select a larger image length than your monitor.

You could print to PDF then convert the PDF to an image. This will save pages. You could take screen shots of pictures on the page then crop them using an image editor. You could zoom out in google chrome and then screen shot. Other then that no you cant really do this.

    ~good luck
