How tight do I close the RINSE AGENT DISPENSER in my Hotpoint Dishwasher?
I recently moved into a new place that has a Hotpoint Dishwasher. It has a built-in Rinse Agent Dispenser on the door of the dishwasher. I've never actually used this accessory on a dishwasher before. I just filled it up with Rinse Agent but I don't know if I'm supposed to screw the cap tight or if I'm supposed to leave it somewhat loose. I don't understand where the rinse agent would be released into the machine if I screw the cap tight. But I don't want to leave it loose and then all the agent pours out in 1 washing.
I went to the Hotpoint website but I couldn't find the answer to my question.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!! Thanks

You don't need to do this yourself
a rinse agent works automatically
don't over screw it just screw it till it fits snugly
a rinse agent prevents build up on your dishes
and it leaves glasses and cutlery nice and shiny
