When you have peace, people begin squabbling over social issues, which are a form of war against their neighbor. Peace is leave it the f alone! People can't do that though ... just look at all those warmongering protesters in occupy.

For Humans yes, we are a very violent species. We fight for the stupidest reasons, land, resources, other people, whos magical fairy in the sky is the correct one, and so on. We are constantly looking for reasons to kill one another.
